Lets Rewrite our Subconcious Mind

After listening to and reading a tonne of books on this subject I realised that you can have all the knowledge in the world but if we don’t practice then it’s not of much use.

Daily Practice in anything is the way to programme our subconscious brain.

I learned the times table at school by constantly repeating these daily so they are stored into my computer brain.  I also learned all the words to The Fresh Prince of Bel Air over 18 years ago and wow it’s still in there along with so much more useless information.  I can drive a car without thinking about it, oh and I can ride a bike too.  So if all this information has been stored  into the computer brain then what else is in there.  There is lots of limiting beliefs and negative emotions which has been stored.

Look at your day and see what you have programmed into your day.

  1. Getting kids ready and out the door for school.  Do you programme that your going to be stressed, rushed and loose your patience and kids will have melt downs.  This was my life until I realised it didn’t have to be.  Okay so every day is not a walk in the park but when I realise I slip into panic mode about being late I take a few breaths have a word with myself and we get there, we are always early so my panicking is just using up my energy and giving my kids a horrible start to the day.  Each day I practice having more patience and my children are my greatest teachers.
  2. Eating healthy  and exercising – but eating a cake is just so much more satisfying.  Yet the guilt after it is just not worth those ten minutes of pleasure yet I do it anyway and then my negative self talk about how I never stick to anything, I shall always be fat and how everyone is better at it than me.  Spiralling negative self talk leads to low mood and energy been drained from our bodies.  So I realise that I either eat the cake, enjoy it and don’t regret it, stop the thoughts in motion.  Or I lay off the cake and feel absolutely empowered at how strong I am.  If I keep on saying no to the Cake I get stronger and stronger.  (I love a chocolate cake)  This one I am working on..
  3. My night-time sleep can be amazing when I meditate but if I miss a few days than wow its back to being rubbish.  (programme)
  4. Eating 3 meals a day (programmed from generations)
  5. Save up for your retirement then have a life (Programmes)

This list can go on and on – Write down your daily programmes by becoming aware of your thoughts and your behaviour.  It can be very interesting to see what your programming is and where it has come from.

Lets Change it but How?

1. Trust your subconscious mind, recognise and become aware of your fears and habits

2.  Interview your subconscious

3. Make a promise, set the intention to work with your subconscious.

4.  Get examples – Douse your subconscious in positive case studies in the programme that you want to achieve..  Your subconscious will do anything you say is possible.

5.  Ingrain this new power into your subconscious.

Repeat, Repeat, Repeat.

Make it happen faster by putting a strong emotion behind it.

Change your physiology

Visualise again and again the new you as if you already have achieved it.

I set a reminder every hour on my phone when I have a programme that I want to pop into my subconscious goals

 

 

Reiki distance to large numbers

I decided to start sending free reiki via Facebook to anyone who got in touch who needed it. I wasn’t sure at first how to send Reiki to more than one person at a time but I soon figured it out.

I think I had about 20 people for my first one, I wrote all names down had a peak at profile pics and started. I set up my room so it was nice and relaxing. I also advised everyone of my start and finish times and advised them of what they may want to do before and during the healing.

As long as you remain open to the healing you are being sent I find it flows much better. I personally feel a great deal doing distance healing, the energy in my hands is quite intense at times and the flow of energy I feel is just lovely and relaxing

Connect with the people needing healing and their surrounding areas, to whomever or wherever your awareness is attracted.

  • Connect with your own spirituality (whatever that may be).
  • You can use an object to help focus your energy if you choose; besides the cupped hands, you can use a pillow, blanked, or some other physical object.
  • Experiment with using distant healing when watching the news. Allow the loving energy to flow into the news that you are witnessing as you exhale.
  • Remember to breathe and feel the energy moving through your body.
  • Combine different techniques.
  • Allow your love to grow stronger each time you practice distant healing.
  • Take action on the inspirations you receive while doing distant healing.

I use my reiki distance symbol and when my mind wanders I chant this symbol softly to myself over and over until my focus is stronger.

Agoraphobia and Anxiety

After practicing kundalini this week I started noticing for the last three nights I would wake at 4 am and feel like I should get up, but last night I woke every hour. I did a bedtime kundalini routine this time instead of my usual morning one. I have had the most vivid dreams each night. I practiced kundalini last year and stopped to switch to Yin yoga and pilates as I had read far too much on kundalini energy and freaked myself out. Something keeps drawing me back to this energy, I don’t want to be scared of it but this time I am going to trust in it and know that it is for my highest good. Unless of course I can’t get my sleeping pattern back, then I may have to scream (dramatic Ahhhhhhhhhhh)

Mindset Of Bruce Lee

After my session of Tai Chi, I have decided I shall become Bruce Lee.  Well we all have to aim for something and as the saying goes – “Shoot for the moon and if you miss at least you will hit the stars” I think its something along those lines.  So I am, this week, loving Tai Chi and I have been practicing with my 6 year old this week, who also thinks he is Po from Kung fu Panda (we all have our thing)

So aside from practicing and feeling the chi, I have been researching a little on the mind-set of Bruce Lee and here are a few of his quotes.

Discovering New People!

 

The more I research into Energy Healing  the more people I discover amazing new techniques to learn and practice.  I am finding that there is a theme that seems to underly most of them.  Meditation, Forgiveness, Love and Compassion, to be aware of thoughts and emotions, breathing practices and a presence in the moment.

I do love how many of these people were scientists, quantum physicists, chiropractors, doctors.  I think I like this as it proves what I have been practicing with Reiki and also for the mainstream people who may be put of by Reiki and energy healing as they think its just for hippies and New age People…

Clearing energies

Detoxing the energy of your mind, body, and spirit can do much more than clear a few heavy vibes. It can change the way you see your day, your life, your experiences, and your relationships. But what exactly is an energetic detox?

Recieving regular reiki whether by a practitioner or from yourself can do wonders for your energy levels

Some days, you may not even realize that your energy was heavy or you felt off until the day is almost over. That’s OK. The more you practice these body scans and detoxes, the easier it will become to cleanse your mental, physical, and spiritual energy.

Clearing mental space

Before you start your day, take a few moments to connect to your mental, emotional energy, noticing what comes up. These tools can help you do it:

1. Essential oils

I always recommend smelling a few drops of orange or peppermint essential oil to cleanse and open the mind first thing in the morning or during the midday slump. This can help clear any dusty energy left over from a poor night’s sleep or the grogginess that sets in halfway through the day.

2. Energetic movements

If you already have a yoga or fitness regimen, that’s great. Another way to move energy during the day is by simply making some arm circles or doing a few lunges to get the blood circulating.

3. EFT

For those of you who haven’t tried emotional freedom technique (aka tapping/EFT), give it a try and see if it helps soothe the mind’s anxieties, worry, fears, and overall negative, unhelpful vibes. Tapping has been known to help relief stress, anxiety, and bring clarity to the mind.

Clearing physical space

How do you feel when you walk through the front door of your home? Are you energized, light, and open? Or heavy, cluttered, and depleted? If it’s the latter, it might be time to give some of these tools a try:

1. Sage smudge sticks

Light some sage or palo santo and carry it around your space with the intention of dissolving any negative, unserving, or heavy vibrations. Once you’ve done a walk-through, thank the space for its guidance and set a prayer for what you want to call into it. Then, burn some incense to help lift and energize the space with your prayer.

2. Decluttering

If it’s been a while since you’ve gone through your desk, office, closet, or shed, take a few hours and get decluttering. By letting things go in your home, you’ll release stagnant energy in the body as well.

3. Crystals

If you have the ability to spend a little money (or a lot, depending on your stone!), consider place crystals around your home, bedroom, office, and car to keep their energies protected, cleansed, and uplifted. I recommend amethyst near the bed for dreams, rose or crystal quartz inside the bedroom for love, and tiger’s-eye and black tourmaline on the desk to bring clarity of thought.

Clearing spiritual space

Remembering the triad of mind, body, and spirit can help you move the negative space in your life and start attracting all that you desire and intend. Here are a few techniques for cleansing your spiritual clutter:

1. Disconnecting

Let’s say you’ve just completed a task or project, finished an intense meeting with someone, or had an interaction that lingers. Now, it’s time to close the energetic connection. Lift your arms up like you’re going to make a big circle, then cross them in front of the chest making an X. This energetic technique closes the energy between two connected beings or things.

2. Breath detox

If you are feeling tired, sore, depleted, or heavy in the morning or at night, place your hands on your heart and send some love and light into your body through a round of five deep inhales and exhales. Fill your essence and energy up by simply being with yourself and your breath. I find doing ten minutes of slow deep breathing to be very energising

3. Morning ritual

Setting an intention for yourself for the day. This helps clear my mindset, focus my energy, and bust through lingering negativity.

Do you remember how long your happiness lasted when you got your new car? Was it a Day a Week a Month, did it then become just a car and your happiness levels went right back down to where they normally sit?

Seeking happiness from outside sources may seem like a good idea or even the only idea but without working on yourself from the inside then your happiness levels will always go back to the level they were at before and if that wasn’t a great level then you could be in for some dark days.

Here are a few tips to help you out

Don’t waste your time chasing happiness you’re looking in the wrong place and missing the joy of now. Learn to enjoy the scenery as you travel through your days. Life on this planet is a never ending story.

  Stop sitting and waiting

You can’t sit back and wait for the perfect moment. What if it never comes?

You might be waiting for life to really begin, but first there’s obstacles and hurdles to get past. Or there’s something else that needs to be done before you can really get going.

There’s a big surprise in store for you, when you wake up one morning and discover those challenges and obstacles and things that needed doing first, were in fact your life.

And you’ll have used up your precious time waiting. Don’t do this to yourself.

Jump into life with both feet and take a chances. Get yourself a dream, because your dream creates your actions and your actions make up your life.

Enjoy the ride

If you’ve been going through life avoiding as many negative emotions as possible, I’ve got news for you. It doesn’t help. And it probably hurts.

Emotions are messengers, sent to remind us of what we’re doing or thinking.  They’re trying to get your attention.

Give the messenger a chance by allowing the feeling. You don’t have to wallow in bad breaks or nasty break-ups, but you do need to give yourself permission to feel unhappy or sad and scared.

Life will always be up and down. Feel the feelings, then move on and enjoy the ride. Don’t ever allow the hurts and pains of life to stick around because they’re waiting to be felt. Let them in and let them go.

If you realized how powerful your feelings were you’d allow them in and release them as soon as you could. Get this step right, so you can move forward.

Find the strength within

Failure isn’t horrifying, or something to be ashamed of, no matter what you’ve been told. It doesn’t mean you don’t measure up, but that you’re stretching yourself beyond your current limits. 

It’s a winning game plan for life and frees you from the exhaustion of perfectionism.

Look at the lightbulb man thomas edison – he failed thousands of times before the light turned on, he never looked upon each one as a failure, just getting closer to the goal.

A child when learning to walk doesn’t try a few times then give up, no they keep on falling down until they can do it.

Remember those who never make a mistake, rarely make anything at all. And even if you never learn to love failure, don’t let that stop you from being like most of the great ones in life, who failed their way to success. It worked for them and it can work for you.

Be of service

By being yourself. The greatest gift you can give the rest of us is to walk your talk. Be honest with where you are. So you’re having a crappy day. Fine. Have people around you that you can be honest with.

Sometimes letting people support you is all you need to get back on track.

And do the same for others. Encourage them. Raise them up. Show them how valuable and necessary they are in our world.

Each one of us has something unique to bring to life, some special role to play. Don’t hide behind a mask of ‘how I should be’. The only ‘should’ that matters is that you be totally, brilliantly you.

I used to always think people would think I was shit to be around if I wasn’t happy but now I realise who really gives a toss.  It is ok to have down times, just don’t stick around in downtown city, get your ass back up and slap that smile on.

Get it done.

Is getting something done. Letting things pile up… be they unfinished projects, or unpaid bills or unspoken resentments, is a surefire way to step into a state of overwhelm. And nothing good comes out of overwhelm.

Invest a little time every night to save a lot of time every day.

Each night before bed decide on the most important things to be done tomorrow. And write them down, as though they were accomplished.

‘I’m really happy and grateful now that….I finished that project that’s been hanging over my head….I had that conversation I’ve been putting off for weeks…I set up those appointments I’ve been procrastinating about’.

Read them before falling asleep at night and you’ll be doing what many of the great inventors did, using your subconscious mind to work on your behalf while you sleep.

Create your own reality

When the day is over let it go. Mistakes might have been made. You did the best you could. And if you didn’t, tomorrow is waiting, fresh and new and filled with possibility. Don’t carry the nonsense of yesterday into tomorrow.

New experiences are waiting. But they exist only as possibilities as long as you think ‘of them’. They become overpoweringly real when you think ‘from them’ as though they already were.

You have been given the power of imagination. Use it.

Experience in your imagination what you wish were happening in your life, and as you successfully heighten your ability to use your imagination, you’ll discover this inner, invisible world to be the source of your reality; you’ll be living from your highest self.

Steps for Quick Coherence Technique:

Step 1: Focus your attention in the area of the heart. Imagine your breath is flowing in and out of your heart or chest area, breathing a little slower and deeper than usual.

Suggestion: Inhale 5 seconds, exhale 5 seconds (or whatever rhythm is comfortable)

Step 2: Make a sincere attempt to experience a regenerative feeling such as appreciation or care for someone or something in your life.

Suggestion: Try to re-experience the feeling you have for someone you love, a pet, a special place, an accomplishment, etc. or focus on a feeling of calm or ease.

So what is everyones happy place?  The memory that first popped into your mind where you were truly happy.   No drunken pill popping moments, boo… I have so many of those ones.. They have to be real happy moments from your heart.

So what was mine.  –  I was in Magaluf, Party Heaven. Yes I know I said no drunken ones and this really isn’t.  So picture this.. Its Daytime, its sunny and I am on a Pedalo with my friend and little brother who  came to visit me for a holiday.  (I was a Pr rep living the dream!) Well,  her little brother was desperate for a pee but was scared that sharks would get him..He was 14 and a little drama queen and I loved to wind him up!! So I told him to just pee in the water..so he did..Then we wouldn’t let him back on the pedalo and I nearly wet myself laughing at him splashing around screaming like a little girl…Ok so I sound like a cruel b*tch but honestly he was laughing too…It has always stuck with me as It was true hilarity and a beautiful care free day with only fun and games on my mind.
